The health profession continues to change and evolve at a fast rate. Research produces new guidelines and best practice recommendations at a rate that cannot easily be assimilated into practice. Goodfellow Learning contributes to a new culture of teaching and learning that will assist with leadership, knowledge brokering and applying evidence into practice.
Through connecting postgraduate students, experienced ‘grass roots’ practitioners and academics, a synergy of knowledge and practice has been established in Goodfellow Learning that manifest in a range of educational material. We deliver innovative, flexible e-learning to busy health professionals, to enable them to learn in their own time and place.
The Unit’s continuing education programmes are developed by primary health care professionals – nurses, physiotherapists, pharmacists, general practitioners - for their peers. As appropriate, input is obtained from other specialty areas, e.g. cultural advisors and other health care professionals (palliative care specialists, speech-language therapists).
